- Provides up to 36 months of education benefits
- Monthly allowance is a flat rate (doesn't vary by location like Post-9/11 GI Bill)
- For P&T ratings issued on or after January 1, 2015, the 10-year delimiting date has been eliminated for spouses under the Forever GI Bill (2017). For earlier determinations the 10-year rule may still apply — verify with the VA for your specific situation.
- Children must use benefits between ages 18 and 26
